Hamilton Arbor Day - Year 9 Students
Arbor Day 2025 was officially opened by Hamilton Mayor Paula Southgate and a karakia for the successful planting of 15,000 trees. This event was held on June 5 at Minogue Park and was attended by a large number of Hamilton schools contributing to the planting efforts.
Our amazing Year 9 students headed along with their gumboots and spades and contributed with 3 hours of non-stop planting. It was a great effort by all but a special mention to E (Eva) Wood and Anthony Tokolahi for planting a mammoth 111 trees each!
