WIMS Cricket
WIMS Cricket was held in week 4, with the Berkley team taking on Cambridge in their first game and Rototuna in their second. They won both matches comfortably thanks to some great skills. Here are a few highlights from each game
Berkley vs Cambridge
Berkley batted first and scored 119. Joe Butler scoring 30 retired and Daniel Shoston 28 retired were the pick of the batters. Cambridge, in reply, scored 100. A good first up win for Berkley.
Berkley vs Rototuna
Rototuna batted first and our boys kept them to 74 runs with some great bowling performances from everyone. Toby Ward managed 2 wickets for 7 runs and Winston Palmer 1 wicket for 7 runs were the pick of the bowlers. We chased it down comfortably with Muhammad Paracha and Vikram Trivedi both at 30 retired getting us over the line in 7 overs.
